Evio Beauty Review (Primer, Concealer, Lip Gloss)

I recently found out about up and coming beauty brand, Evio Beauty, and was instantly captivated by their minimal mint green packaging as well as their cruelty-free, and conscious approach to products that are good for your skin, planet and community.

Beyond the cool and effortless branding, the true test is in the performance of the products. They weren’t messing around when they say ‘there’s everyday makeup, and then there’s Evio.’

First of all, I instantly fell in love with their primer. It’s a moisturizing primer and I love the consistency of it but also how it still leaves a matte finish on my skin. It's also natural, vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and good for all skin types!

I have super oily skin and primers are important to me because they help to keep my foundation in tact during the day. This primer does the job and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy - and that I love! 

Next, I tried out Evio's concealer. I received C1 and C2 and I preferred C1 for the brightening effect it does to my under eyes! This has been a go-to concealer for me ever since I started using it and can’t go a day without it. A little bit goes a long way too, which makes it last a super long time! It's been almost a month now, and not even close to finishing it.

Lastly, I had a chance to play around with some of the hydrating lip glosses. I love the shade “Lise”. 

This gloss is great because it’s not sticky, plus it lasts! I would recommend reapplying every few hours to keep lips hydrated and supple with colour. 

The glosses are packed with shea butter and this creates a dewy finish, with medium coverage and is buildable. They're high in antioxidants, are vitamin-packed and I also read that they can even dual as a blush, too! I haven't tried them as a blush yet but will definitely have to do some experimenting soon.
